Norino Drive Residence

An original Whittier Hills ranch, the Norino Drive home evolved over time and needed a modern approach to bring the spaces together into a more fluid, supportive home for daily living.

Expanding a partial vaulted ceiling, this kitchen is the perfect example of removing a few walls to open up the entire space. The slate fireplace tile at the den balances and compliments the dark rich tone of the maple kitchen cabinets. With crisp Benjamin Moore Simply White Paint on both the shiplap ceiling and the walls, the grey moody tones of the slab cabinets complimented by the bright quartz countertops and gold Top Knobs hardware, leaves this space modeling Mid Century Modern style.

This home remodel combines art with refreshed function. Bold black light fixtures compliment the black accents in the architectural details of the ceiling beams. The washer and dryer are utilized when the sliding barn door is open, but put away when it is time for coffee or cocktails. The large kitchen island is the perfect spot for everyday meal prep or entertaining friends. The accents of classic furniture, bold color furnishings and patterns finish the look.
